Digital Guide
We've created a digital guide of the festival for you HERELate Night Entertainment
We are delighted to announce that Leeds City Council have once again given us the go ahead to keep some of the campsite DJs, Piccadilly Party and SilentArena on until 6am each night.Campsite DJs
Are you the next superstar DJ? Does your heart race at the thought of banging out your favourite tunes to a baying crowd of campers at Leeds Festival? If this sounds like you, bring your best tunes with you and get yourself down to the campsite office in your zone early to earn yourself a 20 – 30 minute slot to play later that evening.
There will be CD decks in each of the campsite offices / campsite DJ tents which can play both regular CDs and MP3 CDs. You can also plug in your iPods – chargers are provided.
5-a-side football
Each day we will be holding a 5 a side football tournament. Register your team to play by emailing your team name and players to bramhamfc@ntlworld.com. We will then respond direct with date / times for a match.Welfare Tent
The Welfare Tent is situated in the Village Area and is open 24 hours from 2pm on Wednesday to noon on Monday and offers general welfare, assistance and advice, a drugs advisory service, sexual health advice, counselling, a messages service and they will help distressed / missing people.
The Welfare Tent also offers a recovery area for patients from medical and emergency shelter in a Crash tent with camper mats and sleeping bags.
There is also a book here that you can add your comments to.
Wheelbarrow hire
Wheel Easy Ltd. will be providing this year a cloth wheelbarrow rental service at Leeds Festival. These lightweight and strong cloth barrows are designed to make it easy for you to carry your tents and supplies from your cars or bus to the campsite and help maximise your festival experience. There will be a number of rental points located in the car parks as well as return points located within the campsites saving you the hassle of having to walk all the way back out to the car parks to return the wheel barrow.
Alternatively you can hire a wheelbarrow for the weekend (limited availability) or hire a porter to wheel the barrow for you.
Price Guideline:
One and a half hour Dry Hire rental: £7 + £30 deposit
If you have any queries or would just like to say hi, you can email info@wheeleasy.eu
Over 18 wristbands
Bar staff will ask for proof of age ID whenever the customer appears to be under 18. However, if you are over 18 but feel you will be asked for your ID a lot on site because you are fortunate to look youthful please get one of our new “over 18’s wristbands”. The Over-18 wristband tent will be located near the football pitch. Opening times will Wednesday 2pm-8pm, Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday 9am-11pm, Saturday 9am-9pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.
This is a voluntary venture for anyone who wants it and the aim is that it will help our bar staff, gate staff and other local retailers to do a quick check for anyone that seems around 18 years old.
It will stop you having to carry your ID every time you want a drink on site, or want to bring alcohol into the campsites from the supermarkets. There will a tent near arena entrance where you will be able to get the over 18’s band once you are in the event.
You will need valid ID in order to get the wristband and this will be a a PASS hologrammed ID card, a full photo card driving licence issued by the DVLA or a passport. If there is any doubt as to the age of the customer they will be refused service. The onus is on the individual to demonstrate unequivocally that they are 18 years old or over and if the individual cannot do so they will not be served.
ID MUST BE SHOWN ON ENTRY TO THE EVENT.
WE ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING FORMS OF ID ONLY:
Current Driving Licence, Current Passport, Citizen Card, Proof GB, Validate, Young Scot, Connexions Card (scheme is closed but card still valid), Portman Group (scheme is closed but card still valid), UreLife® (scheme is closed but card still valid)
